Description

The inclusion of Fluoride is a mandatory addition to all town water supplies under government health regulations.
Health authorities across the country have come to the conclusion that the benefit to reduced teeth decay far outweighs the risk to society as a whole.

This compulsory addition of Fluoride water concerns a section of the population who see this as an invasion of their freedom of rights as well as a fear that accidental overdosing may have the opposite health effect to the population.

An alternative approach to removing much of the fluoride is to use a drop in filter that has the capacity to remove fluoride from town water by 97% meaning that the amount remaining in the water after filtration is less than 1 parts per million.

The fluoride removal media is made from the same mineral that rubies and sapphires (corundum) are made from, in crystalline form.
The process ‘selective adsorption’ is a physical/chemical reaction whereby the fluoride ions are removed by binding to the media’s oxidised surface.
This highly porous material has a large surface area of 200 meter² per gram for optimal filtration.
Made from Activated alumina (AA) represents the only filter material uniqually designed to remove fluoride and arsenic from water.
Having a high surface area to weight ratio, AA has a high capability for fluoride adsorption.
Dependent on usage the filter will last between 6 to 12 Months.
